The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #107

Happy Saturday!

How has your week been? I’m hoping not too stressful, and that your weekend has a healthy serving of self care thrown in 🙂 We have a long weekend in WA and I’m soooo looking forward to some extra chill time!

Make sure to check out the wonderful links from the rest of my trusty co-hosts, Sam at The Annoyed Thyroid, Shari at Good Food Week and Paula at The Geeky Shopaholic.

Ok, now over to MY favourite links of the week 🙂

Ever feel like you can’t write put into words how you feel, and ‘happy’ or ‘sad’ just doesn’t cut it? Here are some names for specific emotions you didn’t even know you had.

If you read my social media and blog posts, you know how I feel about proper self care, and here are 5 more reasons to convince you.

Speaking of self care, make sure you take a few minutes to stretch regularly through the day, especially if you are in a chair for most of it. Here are chair yoga poses to help with stress and posture.

Have a child who struggles to manage their feelings? Here are some great tips on how to help kids regulate their emotions.

Self compassion is incredibly important for confidence and happiness, but did you know if also helps you cope with stressful times? People who are more compassionate towards themselves, are able to get through stress with more ease and optimism.

Did you know these 11 interesting habits about optimistic people? And on the flip side, here are my 5 big myths about positive people.

“It’s almost as though the expected experience of joy around parenthood means that people forget to have this conversation” Why we NEED to discuss postnatal depression and anxiety more.

Gender-based violence remains prevalent in Bolivia, but there is a women-led community that is working to change this. No violence is tolerated and the entire community stands together to create a safe environment for women and families.

One of my favourite things to do if the husband is away is to bunker down with classic (cliche) chick flicks. You too? Here are 40 chick flicks to make you smile.

Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post (if you are not of the link list kind) for the week. Please link only one post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read. Talking of reading, do try and pop along to say howdee to some of the other lovely linkers. This week, you can link up here or bob on over and say hello to Sam at The Annoyed Thyroid, Shari at Good Food Week and Paula at The Geeky Shopaholic. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on all four blogs, as if by magic! The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday.

Let’s get linking!

  1. So much awesome in one post! I’m loving those funny lady movies and those emotion words are pure gold. I think my favourite one is about the house guests – “awumbuk” I feel like I need to invite someone to stay just so I can drop it into conversation! Hope you have a beautiful weekend!
