The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #103

Happy Saturday!

How has your week been? I’m hoping not too stressful, and that your weekend has a healthy serving of self care thrown in 🙂 I’m planning on going for a walk, brunch with friends, and time planning out my week over coffee.

Make sure to check out the wonderful links from the rest of my trusty co-hosts, Sam at The Annoyed Thyroid, Shari at Good Food Week and Paula at The Geeky Shopaholic.

Ok, now over to MY favourite links of the week 🙂

Ok, so I know it is February, but a lot of people are still feeling the mid-January ‘blahs’. You know, after the celebrations and resolutions, work starts up again and things start to feel…kinda blah? Well, here are some ways to get through this time.

Research into gender stereotypes show that young children believe brilliance or giftedness is a more common trait in men! Concerning, no?

You know how I feel about proper self care (so, so important!), and here are 5 more reasons to convince you!

What?? The gender gap could take 170 years to close.

Do you know if you get a good night’s sleep or not? Here are the facts you should be comparing your sleep quality to. Speaking of sleep, here is how to set yourself up for the perfect nap.

Feeling a bit burnt out at work already? Here are 7 quick ways to boost your confidence at work.

Need some positive affirmations to help you on your business, your dreams, your goals? Here are some gorgeous affirmations for change-makers.

Why you should be planning for 2018, instead of just 2017. It may be an intimidating concept, but planning ahead is key to success. This article breaks it down really well.

I loved this video where an accent expert breaks down famous movie accents! From the truly terrible to the masterful.

Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post (if you are not of the link list kind) for the week. Please link only one post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read. Talking of reading, do try and pop along to say howdee to some of the other lovely linkers. This week, you can link up here or bob on over and say hello to Sam at The Annoyed Thyroid, Shari at Good Food Week and Paula at The Geeky Shopaholic. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on all four blogs, as if by magic! The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday.

Let’s get linking!

  1. I love those affirmations! I’m a big fan of using affirmations each day as part of my morning routine, particularly at the moment with the ‘blahs’ setting in now that we have returned to our regular routine after the school holidays.

  2. Awesome links as always! My goal for the month is to try and have at least 7 hours sleep every day so those sleep links have really hit the spot! And I love your self care post too – spot on!

See I love winter! It is summer over here and I can’t wait for it to be over.

  3. Hello there, it’s been such a big week for us and followed by a very quiet weekend. We’ve moved to Orange for most of this year and it’s a big change from the Sydney suburbs. My husband and I are delirious but it’s been tough on our ten year old twins. They got on very well at their new school but their stress comes out in bickering with each other… much love needed all round.

I hope things settle down soon! Have a wonderful week x
