The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #101

Rabbit hole 101

Happy Saturday! I am so excited and honoured be co-hosting the brilliant Ultimate Rabbit Hole link up. This is a weekly link up for bloggers to post their awesome work, share the love around, start connecting, and get inspired! I’ve been following along for ages, and am finally in the hosting seat. I may be giggling like a school girl over here….

So, how does it work? Every Saturday morning, Sammie, Shari, Paula, and I will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their favourite post for the week. The bonus is that whichever blog you link up with, your post will be seen across all four blogs! How cool is that?

And in case you don’t know me, let me introduce myself! I’m Jess, a psychologist from Perth and I am passionate about teaching people how to love themselves more, embrace their strengths, and be more confident. Join my email list to get access to my resource library full of tools to help you do just that!

But on to my favourite links of the week 🙂

This research suggests there only 3 main types of friendships we make, what do you think? (I may be a sampler!)

I wonder how many people have mindfulness as part of their NYE resolutions? Here’s how to have a more mindful new year.

Speaking of mindfulness, I love this series on meditation for real life activities. Mindful Teeth Brushing anyone?

I am often disappointed and shocked at the lack of sex education in schools these days. Here are 5 things that everyone should know about sex!

Here’s a post I wrote about 7 tips for becoming more optimistic, are you a glass half full or half empty person?

The US Election was one of the most heartbreaking things for me to watch last year, and I was baffled how many women voted for Trump. This article outlined the fascinating look at why women voted for Trump.

“You cannot here the still, small voice of your instinct, your intuition, if you allow the noise of the world to drown it out” Brilliant words from Oprah, check out more life lessons from her.

I often help tell clients to stop having ‘happiness’ as a goal, and start striving for a more realistic view of life satisfaction. This post on replacing happiness with WHOLENESS really speaks to me.

Let’s keep breaking down the stigma of mental health shall we? These 25 female celebrities sharing their stories on dealing with depression and anxiety should help the cause.

And finally, here are 5 funny TV series that will distract you from you worries. Anyone have any other TV series they recommend to make us laugh?

Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post (if you are not of the link list kind) for the week. Please link only one post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read. Talking of reading, do try and pop along to say howdee to some of  the other lovely linkers. This week, you can link up here or bob on over and say hello to Sam at The Annoyed Thyroid, Shari at Good Food Week and Paula at The Geeky Shopaholic. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on all four blogs, as if by magic!  The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday.

Let’s get linking!
